Content Credentials (C2PA)
Altara implements the C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) standard. This is an open technical standard that allows publishers to embed tamper-evident metadata in media files.
How it works
When Altara generates a renovation image, we cryptographically sign the file with a specific "manifest" that asserts:
- The image was created by an AI model.
- The issuing organization is Altara.
- The date and time of creation.
Verifying Image Authenticity
Anyone can verify the provenance of an Altara-generated image using free, open-source tools.

Upload the image to see its full history and AI attribution.
Data Privacy & Ownership
Your trust is paramount. We adhere to strict data privacy principles:
- Ownership: You own the rights to the images you generate on Altara.
- Isolation: Your data is stored in your private workspace and is never shared with other users.
- Training: We do not use your private customer data to train our foundational models without your explicit consent.
